Hammers
Hammers in the recycling industry are designed to reduce the size of various materials such as metals, plastics, wood, and electronics. They facilitate the breakdown of large chunks or bulky items into smaller pieces that are easier to handle, transport, and process.
Hammers work by delivering high-impact blows to the material, breaking it apart through shear and impact forces. They are mounted on a rotating shaft or rotor and strike the material repeatedly to achieve the desired size reduction.
Hammers are made from robust, wear-resistant materials to withstand the harsh conditions of processing.
Shredding knives are manufactured by SIJ Ravne Systems under the brand name SIKNIVES.
They are available in a wide range of different steels and hardness. They are custom-manufactured for your specific requirements and waste materials thus improving the durability of the knives, optimizing machine performance, and lowering knife costs.
Products made by SIJ Ravne Systems are our own perfectly fitting, process-optimized SIKNIVES brands and are not original equipment manufacturer parts (OEM) by the machine manufacturer.
Our knives are compatible with shredding machines produced by all major global manufacturers, including Lindner, Eldan, Vecoplan, MTB, Untha, Weima, Andritz Mewa, Precimeca, Amni, Granutech, BMH, Columbus Mckinnon...
Knives compatible with more common machines are also held on stock for immediate availability.
SIKNIVES for shredding are manufactured from the new generation of steel alloys with different hardening processes (through-hardened, casehardened, nitrated, etc.) and heat treated in vacuum to maximize blade performance.
